Girl Scout Cookie Banner

Girl Scout cookie season is here. It comes in waves across the country and creates so much excitement. The troops of girls work hard to create their goals and meet them in sales. It is such an amazing learning experience. This darling COOKIES banner is so simple to make and creates quite a showcase for a cookie booth. It can be attached to the front of a table or to a surface in the background of a booth.

To create the banner, you will need the following materials and supplies:

  • 9″ x 12″ craft cuts of Kunin Premiumfelt: 7 in colors of your choice.
  • Additional pieces of felt for the letters
  • Scissors
  • Sewing Machine
  • Long piece of ribbon
  • Clothespins
  • Pattern GS Cookie Printable

To get started, cut the seven pieces. To create a pattern, simply cut a piece of nine inch wide paper (this one used a center point).

Cut out letters that spell COOKIES. I created a pattern that you can blow up to the size you like.

Sew the letters to the banner pieces.

Use clothespins to attach the completed banner pieces to a long piece of ribbon.

The printable pattern has a couple of fun little tags that you can add to boxes of cookies too. They are cutest with an attached red felt heart.
