Here are the supplies that were included in the banner kit:

  • Kunin Classicfelt in Red
  • Kunin Classicfelt in Candy Pink
  • Kunin Classicfelt in White
  • All of the Classicfelt (9” by 12”) was die cut using a Sizzix Big Shot and Cutting Pads, a Sizzix Laura Kelly “Heart #5” Bigz Die Cut, http://www.sizzix.com/A11079/sizzix-bigz-die-heart-5
  • Ric rac

As a sample project, I made a simple Heart Banner with 6 die cuts, and I paired the hearts together in the order that I wanted them to be. I used hot glue to adhere the hearts to the ric rac. The crafters at Crafty Happy Hour used Aleene’s Turbo Tacky glue to adhere the hearts to the ric rac.

I was very excited to see project come to life using the Crafty Happy Hour Craft Station. Here is the banner created by Crafter Beth. She was really excited to take her banner home and share it with her family, she brought a crafty friend with her and after she was done making her banner – she worked on decorating her planner using supplies she purchased at Crafty Happy Hour.

I hope you enjoyed learning about my Crafty Happy Hour event. Please join me if you live near Riverside, and plan to bring a crafty friend. My next “Crafty Happy Hour” event will be on Thursday, March 23 at Woodfire Café in Downtown Riverside, for all event updates please follow me on Facebook and Instagram.

You can now find an expanded color line of Kunin Eco-fi Classicfelt; Eco-fiPlus™ Premiumfelt and ShaggiChic non-wovens fabrics in cut by the yard at your local Walmart; please inquire as to what is available in your area.
