Nothing like waiting until the last minute to wrap gifts, right? I’ve waited until the last minute many times to find that the stores just didn’t have any good gift tags or wrap left. Guess what? You can make the cutest most fun ugly sweater gift tags ever, with Kunin Group Felt!
Kunin’s Eco-Fi® Glitterfelt™ is easy to cut and is already glittered for a festive look. Customize these tags for each person on your list or just make a bunch of them for fun. Even the kids can get involved on this fun and easy craft. Here’s what you’ll need:
Supplies:
- 3 – 9”x12” sheets of Kunin Eco-Fi® Glitterfelt™ in red, green, lime green
- Aleene’s Tacky Glue
- Tulip Slick Paint
- Tulip Puffy Paint
- scissors
- shipping tags
- sequins
- assorted trims
Assembly:
Cut the 9” x 12” sheets of felt into half. Then cut each half in half again, the other direction, to yield four 4.5” x 6” pieces of felt.
Glue a shipping tag to the back of each piece of Kunin Eco-Fi® Glitterfelt™ in the center. Allow to dry for about 1 minute.
Cut two slits on either side of the tag to make “arms” for the sweater. Cut the felt above the string on the tag at an angle for shoulders.
Then cut out a notch with the neck of the sweater.
Decorate each “ugly sweater” with paints, sequins, and trims. Attach the sequins and trim with glue or dimensional paint.
Allow to dry for at least 4 hours (longer if you put a lot of paint on) and then they’re ready to use!
