Sierra Pacific Crafts Show Highlights

We just returned from the Sierra Pacific Crafts Show in Salt Lake City at the Salt Palace Convention Center. The show was a Mixed Media event bringing vendors and retailers together.

I had a great time demoing flower pins. The attendees enjoyed making them and wearing the felt flowers on their badges. Even the Notions booth staff sported pins too! The flower pins were created with one of  Eileen Hull’s new flower dies with Sizzix.

Many attendees were not familiar with our felt and did not know how well it die cut. What was even more exciting was Els of Elizabeth Crafts Design got a hold of some felt and began die cutting some of her very intricate small dies. Look how cute these mini sweaters and mittens are! Yes that is fudge you see there too, was a very sweet show.

Our Eco-fi Felt is archival safe which is another plus when creating memory and mixed media projects. When cutting intricate and thin dies use a metal cutting plate and thin adhesive sheet. Our stiff Friendlyfelt worked very well too with the intricate dies. Our introduction at this show primarily into the area of Mixed Media was a huge success. Our story of recycling water bottles by an American company for 65 years creating a high quality felt product impressed everyone. We look forward to seeing what is created with our felt.

You can now find an expanded color line of Kunin Eco-fi Classicfelt; Eco-fiPlus™ Premiumfelt and ShaggiChic non-wovens fabrics in cut by the yard at your local Walmart; please inquire as to what is available in your area.

Thank you for stopping by!
