I love to decorate for the holidays, but it can be difficult to find sophisticated Valentine’s Day décor for your home. These quick and easy pillows are understated but still remind you to let a little love into your life during this Valentine season.

Supplies:

• Eco-fi Plus™ Premium Felt in gray, red, pink, and white.*

• Poly-fil pillow stuffing

• Basic sewing supplies

*You can now find an expanded color line of Kunin Eco-fi Classicfelt; Eco-fiPlus™ Premiumfelt and ShaggiChic non-wovens fabrics in cut by the yard at your local Walmart; please inquire as to what is available in your area.

Instructions to make one pillow:

1. Cut (2) rectangles of gray elt measuring 15” x 8”.

2. Cut hearts from red, white, and pink felt. For my pillows, I created one with 6 hearts, each one measuring approximately 3” x 3”. The larger hearts on the other pillow measure 6.5” x 5”.

3. Arrange and pin the hearts on to the front of your pillow.

4. Sew in place. For the small hearts, I simply sewed down the center of the small hearts. On the pillow with the larger hearts, I sewed around the edge of the entire heart. I used a sewing machine for this step, but you can also hand sew or embroider the hearts in place.

5. Once the pillow tops are complete, pin the back and front of the pillows together, right sides facing out. Sew around three edges, with a 1/2” seam allowance. Stuff the pillow with poly-fil, then pin and sew the last edge closed.
