It is the heart of the Holiday season and with Christmas Eve only a week away, the Elf on the Shelf is everywhere! Several of our grandlittles awake excitedly every morning to see what their elf Chris has been up to. They write him letters every day and are on their best behavior for their Elf Scout who reports to Santa every night with a quick trip back to the North Pole.

Of course every elf has to be well dressed and accessorized so we are sharing all kinds of ideas for elf fashion. The elf soft fabric body acts like a felt board and felt will cling very easily. Cut and wrap for easy, instant no sew outfits. Of course this all has to be done without touching the elf as he can lose his magic and certainly he must just appear the next morning in his or her new outfit straight from the North Pole.

For the girl elves this felt skirt outfit is super cute, just add some tiny skates.

This tree costume is funny and will be sure to bring some giggles in the morning. Tiny felt tree ornaments could be added.

What a great surprise for the kids especially on the last few days of school to have a breakfast ready for them like this in the morning!

Now it seems like the elf on the shelf does not actually spend too much time these days sitting on the shelf.
