Back to School Felt Fabric Patches

It is a great time of year to spruce up your bags for snacks, lunches and books.  Yay for BACK TO SCHOOL!  Here is a really simple and fun way to create patches using felt with Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Adhesive Strips.

It is so easy peasy.  All you need is felt and the adhesive sheets.  You can add embellishments if you want too to make your patches more fun and exciting.

Apply the adhesive sheet to the felt with one of the sticky sides.  Choose a design and either cut it out or run it through a die machine to get the shape you want.  I used these adorable Shapesters and Animals from the Pet Shop Collection available from Ellison because they are my brand new licensed designs and I LOVE them.

Once they are cut, remove the adhesive from the other side of the sheet and adhere to your final surface.  NOTE that the fusion is final and permanent.  Ta Da!  I added some buttons to these with Aleene’s Fast Grab and some details with Scribbles fabric paint.
