This week I am sharing some designs from our talented Kunin Design Team. The Team are all professional designers and their work is found in many avenues. All the team maintain a strong social media presence and blog, tweet, have Facebook pages and also belong to other design teams.

Laura Bray shares on her blog this week the cutest cat art doll. (http://laurabraydesigns.com/art-dolls) Her designs are always fresh with a touch of whimsy. I love her character pottery heads. Visit her blog to make an art doll of your own. Isn’t the little fish too cute!

Laura, Jennifer and myself are also members of both the Smoothfoam design team and the Designer Crafts Connection.

Jennifer has an adorable and very crafty son Matthew who is going into grade two. Jennifer came up with this amazing monster pencil caddy for his teacher. I bet his teacher will love it! It is one of those projects that just makes you smile every time you see it! Visit the Smoothfoam blog for the tutorial.

With a new baby in the family I used the Smoothfoam sphere in a totally different direction. For my sweet wee granddaughter a bunny door hanger. Here is the how to on the Smoothfoam blog! http://www.smoothfoam.com/blog/bunny-door-hanger/

DCC DQ Table Run Photo 3

The Designer Crafts Connection is a group of professional designers who post a design the first Monday of each month. We usually have a theme and July’s theme was Celebrations. I chose July 4th as I have been waiting to make a table runner and napkin rings forever! Now when the 4th comes around next year I am all ready. What is so cool about this table runner you can make it as long as you want merely by cutting a piece of felt in half and gluing to either end. This is a super fast and so easy! Find it on my blog! Made in other colours it could be used for several holidays, red, cream and cream for Christmas or pastels for Easter.

These were just a few of the felterrific projects the Team shared this week. Kunin products are found at Joanns, Hancock Fabrics, Ac Moore and Hobby Lobby. Not all Kunin products are available at every store please check your local store for listings.

Happy Crafting!
