One of our Kunin design team members Laura Kelly is also the creative crafty lead over at DollDiaries.com. This site is home to everything dolls and has an enthusiastic doll audience of all ages. We never outgrow our love of dolls. Having daughters gives us Moms a chance to play with dolls all over again! There are some exciting plans in the works for the summer coming up!

Today I thought I would share one of their recent posts by one of their design team members Karen, who has designed the cutest backdrop for a cabin for doll play using our felt. I especially love the curtains. Felt is the perfect material to create doll clothes and doll accessories from. It does not fray, is sturdy and comes in so many awesome colors, Candy Pink being a personal favorite of mine.

Doll playing is a wonderful way to spend time together. It is also from infancy on beneficial in child development. In the beginning children develop their motor skills, grasping, holding the dolls. Make believe play develops their imagination and social skills. As children become older play situations with the dolls can help in positive social interactions in the world around them.

Another one of the many reasons why I love felt, it opens a whole world of creative fun and play for anyone and everyone!
