Spring is definitely in the air, FINALLY and what says Spring more than Butterflies! There are lots of Birthdays, Anniversaries and Graduations coming up soon and I love to embellish my plain gift wrapping with handmade items that can be kept and repurposed. These quick and easy Butterfly Clips are just the thing to add bling to a plain gift bag or gift card holder.

• Straight scissors, clothespins (spring style), paper, pencil, washi tape, paint brush, flower stamens, assorted rhinestones and beads.
• Butterfly Patterns

Download patterns, print on plain paper, cut out and secure to felt with washi tape. The washi tape will hold your pattern on to the felt without leaving any marks.

Cut out butterfly patterns from felt. I used light and dark tones in matching colors, but you can mix and match any color combinations that you like!

Attach small butterfly to large butterfly with Tacky Glue. Paint clothespins and flower stamens with Lamp Black, let dry.

Dry fit rhinestones on butterfly until you are pleased with the placement. Lift each rhinestone using the Crystal Katana tool, place a dot of Tacky Glue on felt and attach rhinestone.

Draw additional patterns on butterflies with Tacky Glue and fill in with seed beads, let dry. Fold stamen in half and attach to inside top of clothespin. Attach butterfly to front of clothespin with Tacky Glue, let dry.
