Happy 1st Anniversary Charity Wings Art Center! www.charitywings.org Located in San Diego it has been the dream of Charity Wings founder Elena Lai Etcheverry to have a center where people could come to be immersed in creativity and art. Mind, body and soul are nourished; groups, classes and workshops for all ages and interests are held. They have a community garden and feed the homeless as well, an outreach program takes food to them in the streets. Elena is a young woman with a huge heart and vision.

At the end of the Craft & Hobby tradeshow in Anaheim, Kunin donated almost its entire booth of felt to Charity Wings Art Center. The Center was thrilled and since then it has been put to good use. Supportive notes for the Women’s Shelter Residents are delivered in pretty handmade Kunin felt envelopes.

Recently they held a workshop creating bib necklaces with felt as the background. Look how pretty!

Their many classes and workshops have benefitted from the felt. For myself having been there as it was carted away by Elena and her volunteers, I felt very grateful for a place like Charity Wings Art Center and for the companies like Kunin who support their efforts.

I am reminded we can all make a difference in so many ways. Thank you Kunin Group for making a difference in the environment and in people’s lives with your creative products.

Creatively yours!
